Delete your data
You can delete what Adhan Connect holds about you at any time. How depends on how you use the app.
Using the app without an account
In the app, go to Settings and tap Delete my data on this phone.
This permanently deletes, straight away, the mosques you follow, your alert and Adhan settings, and your event and Jumu’ah plans.
With an account
If you added an email to message mosques, or you’re a mosque admin or muezzin.
In the app, go to Settings › Account & data and choose Delete account. Or email privacy@adhanconnect.com from the email address on your account.
What happens next
- We delete your account, the mosques you follow, your settings, your attendance plans and your messages from our systems.
- If you email us, we’ll confirm it’s you, then finish within one month and let you know.
- Copies of messages you sent to a mosque may be kept by that mosque.
- We may keep a record that a deletion took place, and anything the law requires us to keep, for as long as it requires.
If you can’t use the app, email privacy@adhanconnect.com and tell us which mosque you follow, so we can find your data. More detail is in our Privacy Notice.
